Edgar Catunta was born and raised in Cusco Peru, where he developed a profound interest in the Peruvian ancient cultures. After graduating from college, Edgar moved to New Jersey City to work for the United Nations where he met people from different cultures and backgrounds.
Later on, he worked for different Companies holding managerial positions in international sales and marketing. After moving back to Peru, a few years ago, he decided to follow his passion for travel and adventure and now he is a Manager and partner of MachuPeru.
Fluent in English and Portuguese, Edgar enjoys life in the outdoors and is an avid sportsman. Among his favorite sports are Soccer, mountain bicycling, swimming and running.

Flor Mesicano: Sales Admin Assistant
Flor Mesicano was born and raised in Cusco Peru, a man of multiple talents, Flor is degree in official tourist guide and Peruvian culture, a specialist in rural development, folklore and Latinoamerican music. As an experienced trip leader and guide, Flor has led adventure treks in the Andes for almost 5 years and has knowledge of English and Quechua. With Flor as your guide, you are certain to experience an outstanding, educational Andean journey.
He is our Product Manager, developing new and interesting subjects to be integrated to our tour offer.
Carlos Challco: Travel Consultant
Born and raised in Cusco, Carlos has developed a profound interest in the Andean ancient cultures. She finished his Tourism Management studies, and is fluent in English. Carlos works in our operations department and has a vast experience in assisting our passengers who really love her kindness and professionalism.
